Brayden was born on January 10, 2011 @ the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, unexpectedly at 27 weeks, weighing 2 lbs. 5 oz. Right from the beginning, Brayden was a fighter. So when we learned that he had a very rare genetic disorder called Ring 18, we knew we had to be just as strong. Since his birth, Brayden has been diagnosed with feeding problems, heart and lung disease, acid reflux disease, ROP eye disease, CVI (Cortical Vision Impairment), growth hormone deficiency, sleep hypoxia, allergies, and partial hearing loss. Brayden has overcome a lot of medical obstacles and the road ahead is still filled with uncertainty, however we will continue to take one day at a time. In doing so, Brayden will continue to watch tv shows that he loves such as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Dave & Ava, Super Simple Learning Songs, and Puppy Pals. He’ll continue to go for 4 wheeler rides with his big brother, Brandon, or maul his younger brother, Brycen, to watch him play on his tablet. Brayden is a very happy child who loves to laugh and giggle and likes to play rough with anyone who will wrestle around with him.
